Self-cleaning high-performance air release vents made of sintered stainless steel alloy with a 0.2mm wave slot.

This further development of the classic Supervent is made of high-performance material and, thanks to its super conical 35° slots combined with the decades-proven wave slots, prevents sand grains from entering and accumulating inside the vent.

It was specifically developed for aluminium casting and achieved excellent results during the testing phase.

This air release vent is particularly resistant to wear and has a very long service life.
Additionally, its special properties reduce maintenance intervals and the associated downtime.

Currently available sizes: Ø10mm. 12mm and 16mm with a height of 10mm

At the beginning of 2024, Ludwig Föbus GmbH & Co. KG acquired the long-established vent manufacturer Fa. Zimmermann from Lahnau, including its entire machinery.

After transporting the machines to our facility, commissioning, and training our new employees, we are able to manufacture the world's unique ri-reinforced slotted vents.

Furthermore, we have been able to further expand our product range by responding to customer requests for custom special vents.

Here too, we were able to once again demonstrate our capabilities to both existing and new customers.

For custom vent requirements, we are and will remain the reliable partner for our customers.

The "Föbushot", formerly known as Unitube, was further developed in long term tests in cooperation with several well-known Cold-Box core manufacturers through the use of newly implemented plastics and achieves a longer service life compared to the original product.

Despite the innovative development , the price for the product has not increased for our customers. This significantly enhances the flexibility during production of Cold-Box cores and reduces their costs.
