Extruded ceramic metal filters
This filter is a honeycomb-shaped ceramic which separates the impurities carried in the melt during casting. The filters are separated by extrusion of a ceramic material, thus ensuring exact channels separate from each other are created, which build the characteristic honeycombs. In order to achieve an extraordinarily strong honeycomb structure the material is fired.
Suitable for ferrous as well as non-ferrous metals up to a casting temperature of 1450 °C.
